Welcome
Welcome to scottmcmorris.com. This site acts as an online portfolio and ultimately showcases all my media and film work I've gained over the years as a professional UK snowboarder. Not only can you browse all my magazine coverage from the likes of Whitelines and Snowboard UK, watch my video sections from the successful Lockdown Projects films but also keep up to date by reading my weekly blogs and the occasional podcast that comes from my travels. On top of that I've decided to do a trick tip section where I break down some of my favorite tricks step by step so you can understand how to do them. If however there's a trick thats bugging you email your questions over and I'll do my very best to help out.
I've also made some good friends through the industry and I decided that they needed a page of there own to show my appreciation - check them out! Not only have they got me on magazine trips, published shots of me in gallery sections but at times offer sound advice thats made into the snowboarder I am today.
Keep checking back for updates. Thanks and enjoy.... Scott McMorris

Back in Morzine
26/01/2010
Calgary was amazing and the Canadian Olympic Park was off the hook. Josh and his crew of shapers did everything they could to make our time filming that little bit smoother. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. We started filming at 9pm and didn’t finish till 5am the following morning!!! All in a nights work ehh! Although on the way out aircanada were kind enough to lose my snowboard bag when I left Geneva. So you can imagine how the production company reacted when I turned up with no kit! All was well though and they new the benefits of me having my own kit so they kindly replaced everything I needed to throw down. The bag, I thought, was a total goner but I got the call and almost 10 days later it turned up with everything in tact!! Booo ya!!! Man I was so stoked to see it. I had a load of kit I really didn’t want to lose and a few things I got for Christmas which again would have been a ball ache to replace. But hey no stress as I have everything back.
I’ve been in Morzine since and riding pretty much every day. I haven’t really stopped to be honest. I guess I’m super focused to ride lots this season and keep progressing so to do that you need to be shredding lots! The park is now fully built down next to the Stash and it actually works real well since they’ve changed the location. It seems to flow a lot better and on a plus side you can lap it pretty quickly. Tomorrow’s supposed to be sunny so a park day beckons and hopefully a little filming.....I’ll get some new clips up soon! Until next time!!
Cheers
Scott
