About me

"In my years spent covering various photo needs I've discovered that it's the riders that put the extra effort in that get the best results. Scott is one of those riders and I'll always be happy to shoot and travel with him. Not only is his riding (in my humble opinion) of World class standard, he brings with him a positive attitude that makes him a bonus on any shoot. On the board his enviable personal style makes his riding instantly recognisable. His only drawback I guess is his strange accent. Ah well you can't have everything."

"Scott is in the elite of UK snowboarders - a true professional and first and foremost a sick rider! It would be hard NOT to publish shots of Macca each year, such is his work rate and his ability to get the shot when it counts. I'm pretty much guaranteed to receive a good selection of images each spring, which made him an easy choice for a full interview in the February issue. Scott's talent and easy-going personality have also landed him a spot on many a White Lines road trip. If only he wasn't so damned ugly... :)"

"Scott McMorris is not only a very good snowboarder, but he'll laugh at even the worst jokes, which means that you have some one who'll not only impress you with their riding but make you think you're funny as well. I've worked with Scott in most capacities; As a magazine editor I used to egg him for photographers and as a TV presenter I've egged him on for camera men and he hasn't failed me yet. Professional down to the last ounce he'd be one of the first names out of the hat for a job, a trip or a beer."

"'If he wasn't such a nice lad, Scott McMorris' many talents would be enough to make you sick. Universally regarded as one of the most talented UK snowboarders of his generation, he is also a sick skateboarder and will no doubt be an amazing surfer once he turns his attention to that. I've had the pleasure of travelling and shooting with Scott in Lebanon, Canada, Bulgaria, France and the USA and each time he's been a quality travelling companion and a consummate professional, working long and hard to get the shots and always, always coming up with the goods."

"If I bang on about Scott's charm, good looks, chivalry and sparkling sense of humour his girlfriend will get suspicious, so I'd better just say best late backside 180s in the business and leave it at that. Oh, and if you're planning a trip, put Macca at the top of your list, because your man has it all: consistency, bangers, an up-to-date passport and the ability to pack a minivan in subzero temperatures while the rest of the crew are still struggling to get out of bed."

"Scott McMorris, is one of the most naturally talented snowboarders i have ever worked with. His ability to look at features for the first time, understand what trick would look best on that feature, and then ride it like he's being riding it his whole life, is second to none! He also has the kind of enviable personality that lights up a room when he walks in. A great snowboarder and a great guy."

"I am 72 percent sure that I love him. The actor, the snowboarder, the man.

I love Scott. Scotty, scott, scott. Here it goes down, down into my belly..."

"Scott McMorris (or Scoot Memories according to the helpful spell checker on my ageing Mac) seems to have snowboarding spot on. Sure, he might be one of the UK's biggest hitters, jet around the world to go riding and be backed by some of the industry's heftiest brands, but you'd genuinely never know. There's no 'the big I am' (in fact, I've seen it first hand when fans have approached him and he's happily chatted with them for ten minutes seemingly oblivious to the fact that one of them looked like she was going to pee in her pants with excitement any minute) and it's probably because Scott still loves getting up and going riding all day just like the rest of us - except he's throwing down seven this and nine that where most of us are straight airing... the bugger!"
