Trick Tips
Backside 720
Ok, one of my favourite tricks to do and pretty sweet when you learn it with loads of grabs. Again you want to make sure you're super comfortable with the jump. If you come short on the landing it's not pleasant and that's coming from experience. Plus you can get bruised heels doing this so I stress on this make sure your making the landing before trying it. Here goes. Approach the jump flat based and try and not lose any speed. Use your leading shoulder to almost wind up like you're a spinning top. Slow the clip down to see what I'm on about. This will carry you around 720. So as your nose leaves the take off it's time to through your leading arm backside. As your arm goes past your stomach suck your knees up and grab mute (leading arm grabbing between your feet). Keep a hold of the grab for as long as you can and keep spinning. Try and let go around 3/4's of the spin as this will stabilize the spin out making you able to land flat based. When your body comes round past 540 you'll be able to see the landing thus being able to put it down smooth. That's it. I would say you want to be able to put down 540's really comfortably before trying this as it's the next step up. Have fun with it and make it a challenge when you're out shredding.
